A nervous day for Higuain

Today evening serie A plays the last match for this weekend. And what a match it is! Napoli and the champions of Juventus will face each other in a real clash. However, what makes this most special is the argentinian striker Gonzalo Higuain.

El Pipita played for Napoli for a couple of seasons and immediately became the idol of all neapolitan fans. On the other side even the player was very happy. After a dark year at Real Madrid where he played very few matches, he found back his form at the southen part of Italy.

After that great time he accepted a huge offer from Giuseppe Marotta. The  Sports Department CEO of Juventus convinced him to wear the shirt of the club from Piedmont.

This was a great opportunity and Higuain changed teams without no doubt. However, this was not easy for Napoli’s fans. Even this day that we are talking, some of them can’t believe that El Pipita left them to join their “enemy” after the summer. To make things worse thought Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis. On a bliz interview he commented over this transfer saying: “Isn’t his agent embarrassed to say that the team where he played and helped him score 38 goals was not up to the challenge?”

The day of judgment came today. In the evening at 20:45 he will step back at Stadio San Paolo. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the home fans have prepared a huge surprise for him. They will welcome their old idol with big emotion and… toilet paper.

Yes, toilet paper. During the last 2 days thousands of boxes of toilet paper with Higuain’s face on it are sold along Napoli. Even though their price was around 1€/roll the sales have been huge.

It is very possible that the fans will throw them when El Pipita will step on the pitch again.
