Inter is absolutelly one of the strongest teams of Italy. However, the second team of Milano has had a very difficult season until now.
Anyway, since Pioli became coach of the team things have changed. The italian coach brought a new philosophy in the team and the changes are obvious.
Everyone in the team enjoys playing with each other and the results for Inter are pretty impressive.
Bigger ball possession from the midfielders and more goal occassions. Today they played against Udinese in a very difficult match, but they somehow got all the possible points.
Even though the hosts scored first, nerazzurri found force to turn the result into their favour. Perisic was man of the match with 2 goals and 12km covered. The croatian has adapted perfectly to seria A and in less than 1 year he has become a key player for Inter.
In only 1 month they have recovered a lot of points and today they are only 5 points from the 3rd place which gives you a place in champions league. During the last seasons they have had very bad results, this this year may be different. During the after match interview the captain Mauro Icardi said:
“We are walking on the right way. Very happy for this victory today, but I’m more happy about the good winning run we are having. The team is enthusiasic and the air is very good in Appiano Gentile.”
They have since the glorious 2010 that disappoint their fans. Mabye it is time for Inter go get back on top, where they belong…
