They got a couple of winnings in a row. However, Manchester Utd didn’t convince a bit.
The Red Devils played against Bournemouth today and things went the same.
Mourinho’s guys clearly don’t fit with each other. Their teamplay is very confusing and most of the players have already lost their temper. One of these names is of course the Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimović. The 35 year old was the main character in 2 episodes of this game.
Firstly, Ibra made one of his common unsportsmanlike conduct and gave a penalty for The Cherries. Easy occassion for Joshua King who scored the 7th goal for this season for his team.
Anyway 5 minutes later the game was in disbalance one more time. This time not with goals, but with players. Andrew Surman got his second yellow card and left his team with 10 players.
First half ended 1-1, but all the odds were still with Manchester Utd, especially when they were with numerical superiority.
On the second period things were almost the same till the 70th minute. Mourinho made all his substitutes in the same time trying to save time and only 2 minutes later they got their gold opportunity.
Dan Gosling made a wrong tackle and for the referee it was a penalty kick. Zlatan came to the ball to give his team the advantage and make up for his first half mistake. However, the striker made everything worse. He missed from 11 meters. Artur Boruc leaped out to thwart his attempt with some terrific skills.
During the following minutes nothing changed. The hosts tried to change something, but without any ideas how to do that. The final whistle sealed the result 1-1 in a very disappointing 90 minutes for Manchester Utd.
On the other hand, great game for Bournemouth who took a valuable point with 10 players in Old Traford.
