France league 1 is one of the most interesting championships in europe. Last years were a little bit “boring” though. Les Parisiens from the capital won the last consegutive titles. This made everyone think that this year would be the same. However, Monaco changed everything.
We are 2 months from the end of this season and Les Monégasques are still on the 1st place. Each win is a step closer to the so desired title. Today they had a very difficult challange against Bordeaux.
Monaco destroyed Les Girondins in the most important meeting of this weekend.
The first half was very balanced and both teams tried their best to not concede a goal and they got it. 0-0 and almost no goal occassions at all.
The second period changed things. We had to wait until the 68th minute to see the first goal. Player of the moment, Kylian Mbappé got a graet ball from Falcao and shaked the net. 1-0 and the celebrations and Stade Louis II celebrated like they already won the title.
5 minutes later and the next goal came as well. The portugese midfielder Joao Moutinho scored an awsome goal that sealed the game.
The guests got the goal at the end of the meeting, but it was useless. Monaco won again.
All eyes are on PSG tomorrow. If they don’t get all 3 points, the title of France may “travel” to an independent area.
